Great article on the massive impact that the incredible hiring going on at Electric Boat in Groton. They want to hire 5,000 new employees each year for the foreseeable future. That’s unprecedented and will have a long term positive impact on our state. Jay

They may not pay CTYank and Obekyman stratospheric salary levels but still damn good news, goddamn good news, thanks. Anyone who poo poos or downplays this is just trying too hard.

Well, I did not claim 200k was "easy" salary to get like another poster said. I am just stating that 115k won't cut it in lower Fairfield county when homes are now 600k with 8% rate for a dump that was 400k only three years ago. Of course this is positive for CT as a whole. The military industrial complex funding does it again, debt be damned.

Yes, there isn't a shred of doubt that housing has lapped income nationwide. It's been well documented at this point.
