You are right. I am west of you and we've had one line pass already. No thunder or lightning.just a downpour and some wind.Nothing terrible,so far.

We've escaped this so far.Definitely feels more fall-like out there now.67 degrees here.

I can just feel it... this winter will be bust too. Always happens when u get a crappy summer.

The only good news... After wed... Looks cool cloudy and rainy for numerous days.

I know of at least 3 school districts that cancelled all after-school activities over it......

I agree. Its like them putting up hurricane watches down south when it was so clear Karen wasn't developing and meanwhile no watches with Sandy.

In my post above I mentioned not even any lightning and didn't even say rain would be an issue. Lmao. I was texting everyone not to worry but soley based on what usually happens around here.

Even NWS Upton said "North and West of NYC". Good for them...but why the Thunderstorm warnings today and not last time when there was actually vivid lightning and thunder going on? Lol

Anyway... I'm so done with these storms...can we get to the blizzards please.

GFS 72hr precip total ending Saturday morning. Now this I believe because it rarely rains here anymore. lol Look at the cutoff point. LOL!
