One of my tenants is from Montana. She just moved to CT last year. I asked how she's liked it here. This was her response.

"I have loved it. The ONLY thing I would change is the humidity. But even that I've gotten very used to and now I don't mind it so much. But it definitely a surprise!"

I don't want to keep repeating but this area (northeast) is flat out miserable this year. I was walking the dog and it looked like fog towards the trees buy it was the moisture in the air. Dew points and humidity.

No storms yet. Dry until next week.

I was at the dog park yesterday by the beach and...Holy cow. I forgot what a breeze was like. It felt incredible. Sadly just 5 minutes inland you dont get much. Especially 30 minutes in there's no breeze. Thats always amazing to see. Too bad we all dont live by the water. The humidity would be bearable.

lol. Would love it with no complaints. There was a freeze Warning in Wyoming. Winter advisory in Montanta the other night for 7000'+. Maybe I just need to be higher up or in the northwest territory. Maybe I'll just build a cabin on top of Mount Bear in CT.

Rain and storms moving in tonight with the cold front coming through. Some local heavy downpours between tonight and tomorrow. Should clear by late afternoon.

Then we'll feel Isaak's remnance next Monday with Tropical rains.

Temperatures steady as she goes. 80s / 60s unless its cloudy or raining then our highs will be in the 70s.

…no change here along the Connecticut coastline as well as far as above normal monthly mean tempretures:

As of today - NWS Bridgeport stands at 75.9 F for the month = 2.2 F ABOVE normal. This makes 22 months of above normal temperatures at NWS Bridgeport. As of right now, I see no big change in September, pretty typical mean temps in much of the eastern USA. In fact, the 2nd/3nd week of September looks to be warmer than normal.

With this pattern, I think this might be yet again another warm fall on the East Coast, esp below Boston. We'll see I guess.

Correction.. It will be 18 months above normal not 22. January and February 2011 were below normal. So the last below normal month BDR had was Feb. 2011. 18 months ago.

Its not a record though. August 1990 to February 1992 was above normal. (19 straight months)
