I found it suprising we stayed below normal for the high today. Will be different tomorrow and Tuesday but the 3 day warmup just got shortened

These are the record highs to beat. I dont see it happening but it wont feel like December for sure.

BDR Record High temps to beat:
Monday: 64 (2009)
Tuesday: 72 (1998)
Wednesday: 62 (2001)

BDL Record High to beat:
Monday: 67 (2009)
Tuesday: 71 (1998)
Wednesday: 68 (2001)

LOL at everyone complaining of the cold! It hit 48 here yesterday, and our normal high is 44, maybe I'm just in a warm zone for now. It was really foggy the past two mornings. It was only a couple of degrees colder than normal for the month of November, I thought you guys were cold weather fans? I'm not going to freak out unless we're 5-10 degrees colder than normal. I'm going to take advantage of these warmer temps while they last, and do some hiking over the next few days. According to Intellicast my forecast for today is 57 and 60 for tomorrow.

We cracked 50 F yesterday here on the coast east of New Haven

As far as the coming days...that will be the most intresting thing to watch - will parts of the Tri-State hit 60 F or better today and on Tue?

My guess for today is that any NWS station that already has temps of 50 F or higher has a pretty good chance at 60 F or better. So the stations in yellow (as of (9:00 am obs) are my guess at hitting 60 F (or higher). Of course for stations like Millville and Atlantic City it's pretty much a done deal:

According to several sources....December 2012 will be a very mild winter month in much of the USA. We could even be looking at another "green Christmas" in the Tri-State area:

Don't we usually have a "green Christmas"?
