My computer refuses to install the following updates. It tries every day when I shut it down, but they just won't install.

I copied the information to make it easier. Replacing my computer right now isn't an option. But it's first on the list when I'm employed again.
Could be that you need to go to add/remove programs, and remove all of the .net frameworks in reverse order (starting with 3.5, then 3, then 2, then 1). Then, go through and manually install them 1 at a time. Sometimes if you patch them in an odd order it can cause a problem and then all future updates fail.
According to one experience I read about, you can remove all the .net installations from Add/Remove Programs and then let Windows Updates reinstall them.
I've tried installing them one by one, and they won't install. I've never tried removing them from Add/Remove Programs, though.
Try removing them all via Add/Remove programs, then reboot. Then you can either manually install or go via Windows updates. If it fails via Windows update, google the error code it kicks back. That usually shows you if there's another fault somewhere.
