I found files that I did NOT PUT ON my system, so don't sit there and tell me that they aren't "doing anything". Yes, they are.
Don't get all huffy and puffy. I simply said Microsoft has not automatically installed Windows 10 on anyone's machine unless that user actually agreed for the install. Don't tell me it's happened automatically because I know it cannot without user intervention. "installing" the patch to allow for the install files to be present on your machine is one thing. But actually installing the OS without your input is completely different.

They're lying, because the installation is not happening unless someone tells it to install. Now, they could be computer dumb enough to click wherever they need to click to begin the installation, but it takes a certain amount of human intervention for Windows 10 to install.

Not to worry, MS is diligently attempting to add the missing "features" to W7 and W8.
Microsoft accused of adding Windows 10

I have a new HP15 with win 8.1, I went to watch a DVD Thursday and got a popup telling me that I could not watch the movie until I connected to the internet, reviewed the last 5 movies I watched (and my reviews would become public somewhere) sand that I agreed to allow Power DVD to share my movie viewing habits with 3rd parties. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE

Windows 8.1 has no native DVD software, Power DVD is a 3rd party application loaded by HP, not really a Windows issue. There are other options available. http://www.videolan.org/

At least VLC does not want to know whatever you do with it, while the Video players from MS track you and whatever else they do ...

BUt ... you might have some problems with *Bluray* disks.
