I have IE9 operating on my Windows 7 based PC. I have been able to clear previously imported folders from my Favorites list through a Windows 7 by a CTL>A action from the "Computer" option. One favorite (Vermont- Agency of Commerce & Community Development) I put on several years ago will not delete through any IE tool or Windows action. When attempting to remove it I get a message that the folder can not be found. I have done a Windows search and the folder does show up. Doing a "Properties" display on it indicates that it is in the user favorites folder. Does anyone have a suggestion on further steps to remove this folder?

Open c:\users\%username%\favorites and delete it in there.
