I bought an iPhone 3G back in 2009. I synched my phone with my old computer. I then broke my old computer and bought a new one. Now, iTunes allows me to transfer only the music I purchased on my iPhone from the phone to my new computer. It does not work the other way around, so if I buy a song using iTunes on my PC, it won't upload to my phone. And my phone won't sync with my new computer, so all of the non-iTunes purchased songs on my iPhone--that I uploaded using my old computer--won't transfer over to my new computer. How do I get around this???
Another itunes, ipod, music hassle. Should of got a plain mp3 player which just connects to anything and doesn't present al sorts of music transfer problems. A plain old mp3 player works as a mass storage device (another hard drive) and files, music or otherwise, are simply dragged and dropped with no questions asked. On top of that they play .wmv too. I just don't see why people buy ipods.
Ironically (or not) I love the Mog music streaming app on my iphone, it gets rid off all of that itunes hassle that I just can't stand.
