Where is Cowtown? Never heard of it.

Yeah. Because the same developer didn't build all of them and name them from their location in town. It was a theme. Good lord....

Isn't Westland all but dead, too? And the New Market strip mall thing? Tuttle doesn't seem to be thriving, either. I'm glad that someone is deciding to do something with City Center. I love the McHostile McBacklash some posts generate.

Westland is home to some local restaurants and ethnic fare. The retail sector of W. Broad St. is in deep decline. There were rumors, a few years back, that with some of the new West Side housing developments Westland mall would be redeveloped into more of a lifestyle center. Something will happen with the site and the now defunct Delphi Plant.

Tuttle seems stable and has contributed to much of Westlands decline. The last store to expand at Tuttle was H&M, the first in the CBUS market.

I am not sure about the New Market mall. I hear it is still mostly dead.

New Market Mall was located in Dublin just north of the I-270/Sawmill exit and was popular for a brief period during the late 80's... long gone.

I believe the same development company created Scarborough Mall near Gender/Brice Rd. in Reynoldsburg. Not a pretty thing these days.

I wouldn't put New Market in the same category, it was really much more like an enclosed strip center than a shopping mall.
