No doubt. There is lots of money to be made there, I know a couple operators and they do well and are also very generous folks. I would rather actually own something though.

SC Pride begins Friday night on Main Street with a nighttime parade followed by a dance party and performance by Lil Kim and the festival all day Saturday. With 55,000 in attendance last year, it surpassed St. Patty's Day in Five Points.

Sorry, I just saw the post. If they go back down tomorrow, I park on one of the side streets a couple of blocks off Main.

.....The other two restaurants will share a location: The new iteration of Rise will be a street-level breakfast and lunch spot, while Birds & Bubbles will serve a menu built around fried chicken and champagne at dinnertime on the below-street garden level.

No way this will cost $4 Billion.... I would like to see a public/private partnership and a diverse ownership plan if they redevelop Columbia Place (which really needs a jolt the private sector cannot deliver by itself).
