Just wanted to see what was out there in the textbook rental world. I have rented from Chegg.com on 3 occasions and have seen a few others. What are some of the other sites and what are the pros/cons of those sites? Why do you rent from them?
I've only rented once and it was from Chegg, which I thought was pretty good.
I barely rent because as much money as it is, I'd rather buy them and get my money back when I resell. Also, go on campusbooks.com - that's like my main source of finding textbooks!
i enjoying using Chegg, they have wonderful service. Also, Amazon is great. They even have it set up for some books so that you can return and get a used price back if it meets in good conditions.
The one and only time I rented a textbook was through the college bookstore. So perhaps you could check there.
