Starr, however, will stay on as a professor at the law school.

Good for Starr. Though I'm surprised he's staying at Baylor. I don't think many people expected him to stick around.

In other, rather unsurprising news, Mond decommitted today. Our 2017 class is now down to one commit. It'll be interesting if that drops to 0.

Looks like Mike Singletary wants the Baylor HC job, but not sure that's going to happen. He would be a great character coach, but his style doesn't really mesh and he has no college coaching experience. People seem to want Phil Montgomery (or Dino Babers) back.

Ken Starr Faceplants When Confronted With Email Showing He Was Told About Rape At Baylor

If and when the NCAA gets involved in this...Yeah, either way, Baylor won't be a threat in the Big 12 for likely 2 to 3 decades.

This isn't as bad as the Penn State scandal, but this is pretty bad.

The alumni there are also speaking up about this: http://www.cbssports.com/college-foo...ssault-report/

I think you are correct, and Baylor has only itself to blame.

The NCAA should waive the 2016 recruiting class LOIs and let the kids enroll wherever they can get another scholarship offer. If Baylor refuses to release them, the school is just digging its cesspit deeper.

Starr has made himself a national embarrassment. He needs to crawl away quietly.

Baylor recruits still waiting for release from letters of intent | FOX Sports

And in positive news, the AD at Florida has used what's happening at Baylor as a teachable moment for their coaches. Florida AD used Baylor as teachable moment for coaches | WFMYNEWS2.com

Another interesting post:

Quote:
Baylor fan logic:

Holding 18 year olds accountable for signing LOIs: yes

Holding men responsible for covering up rapes/domestic abuse accountable: no

Every single step the powers that be in Waco are taking (or not) is the wrong move, and is making them look worse & worse. Seems the only entity there trying to do the right thing is the Baylor Line Foundation.

But look at this incredibly dumb ad some totally clueless boosters put in the AAS:

Apparently there is a big ad in the Austin paper thanking Ken Star for his integrity and character. Wow.

I have a few Baylor alum friends on Facebook that are posting up articles denying wrongdoing. And I thought the aggies were a cult!

That ad is ridiculous. At least they included their names so you know what idiots were behind that.

Not sure any school can make a claim of being more cult-like than Aggy.. Are your Baylor alum friends denying any wrongdoing, or denying wrongdoing of certain people? The BOR is a major cluster and many need to go. The majority of the board have been making terrible decisions for years. Unfortunately this is nothing new, and should come as no surprise. It would seem that refraining from releasing the PH report is in their best interest. I wonder why..? What are the BOR hiding?

I feel like Baylor is trying to drag this out for as long as possible.
