Cheapens the SEC West when Bama goes down to 7-2 teams but wow, another good College game.
You got to admit, the Tennessee and LSU games were good entertainment.
Now, over at the SEC East, the Vols' loss started with their mouth. Someone saying something about how the Georgia home game scene is overrated? They got thumped, season over. Georgia's retort to the comment, "I don't give a Dawg about no Tennessee Vols."
The SEC West's dominance isn't as strong now as it was.
You have a down year for Alabama. Two loses by a total of 5 points. 3 teams in the top 11 is better than the Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12 or ACC. And that is only half the conference. Add in the east you have 5. If somehow Alabama sneaks into the playoffs they are capable of winning it all. I am not a fan of there's but you don't want to ever count Sabin out.
It does seem that there are teams up there with Alabama like Georgia or Clemson or LSU and now Tennessee. That are as talented. Seemed like a talent gap before.

You're right about the West. Though I feel Bama getting in the CFP is a long shot now, but given its college football anything can happen. I feel the Tide need all of these to occur -
TCU loss, So Cal loss, LSU loss in SEC Champ Game, Clemson loss

Who would be the 4 teams?? Georgia, Michigan/OSU winner would be the obvious 2 choices. Alabama would probably be the 3rd, but who would be the 4th team?? Michigan/OSU loser??

1. Georgia
2. Ohio State/Michigan winner
3. Alabama
4. Probably one-loss TCU, two-loss So Cal or two-loss Oregon, depending on who committee feels is strongest case;
You figure, Alabama is going to be the highest ranked two-loss team because of their strength of schedule and wins.

Te Tide is now toast...LSU saw to that. I'm glad, I'm tied of Alabama and their coach. Go UGA or LSU! The SEC ship will be fun to watch.
