Most Texas fans I read think UGA Dawg is a badass mascot - right up there with Bevo & Ralphie. Most of us think Strong is a good hire - cleaning out the misfits & idjits and getting the rest to shape up.

We'll see if he can win big in a year or two - he gets a pass this season.

Then why are so many complaining about the violence, misogyny, & cop-hating that the kids are being exposed to in that "music" these days?

What am I and all the others missing here?

It's not the music. Like I said in my last post, when that type of music did gain mainstream popularity in the early 90s, it was just making observations about things that have been going on in those communities for decades.

There has always been conflict with crooked police officers in those neighborhoods. There has also always been violence. That particular genre of rap started fading in the early 2000s. Musical trends change, but the issues in those neighborhoods don't.

He certainly didn't swoop anybody off their feet in the spring game. He's a lot like your "Belldozer".

Coaches need to equip Ash with a whole body airbag if UT is gonna go anywhere this fall.

No plz no Swoops just yet. He needs a lot of practice and spend some time getting familiar with the offense. And hopefully Ash can stay healthy. Aug 30th is coming up and that's a good thing!!
