Isn't that the old Pughs Tire and new Go-Science Center location?
The selling address is Greene St, so it's across the street from City Hall. I can see where you got confused, though. One of those pics directs you to Dickinson. Why is the old Imperial warehouse area labeled "New School?"
At this point, I think almost any brand name hotel would be a welcome addition. Even a Holiday Inn Express would be a welcome sight. Something with some meeting space. I love the interview and this is all very exciting stuff going on downtown.
I also received an email from Uptown Greenville about input on the Dickinson Ave corridor:

Dickinson Avenue Market and Planning Public Workshop:
You are invited to attend a public workshop and presentation to discuss the future of Greenville's tobacco district! A consulting team has begun to develop revitalization strategies for the historic Dickinson Avenue corridor. The team needs your input to refine the community's vision for this area, which is strategically located between the Uptown business district and the future 10th Street connector.
When: May 13, 5:00-7:00pm (presentation at 6:00pm)
Where: Third floor of City Hall (200 W. Fifth Street)
I can't make it, but hopefully someone may see this and go.

I believe the West Greenville Redevelopment Plan listed that area as a potential site for a new school...
I thought I heard with Hendrick now on board with Bob Barbour they were bringing in some other auto groups...Lexus BMW FIAT? Anyone heard anything on the expantion?
If FIAT comes to town, I believe East Carolina Chrysler would have the first rights as a CJD franchise.
