Anyone know what's going in the old Rite Aid at the intersection of Evans St. and Greenville Blvd.? They were doing some painting yesterday and working on the signs this morning.
I can't tell. It was purchased in May 09 by a company called CCBF Associates. They are a commercial developer.
Prime commercial real estate in Greenville is starting to get expensive. They paid $750,000 for that .67 acre lot. That works out to about $1,200,000 an acre. At that price I can assure you that the property is not just going to sit and do nothing.
I've heard (from the Checkers restaurant next door) that the lot on the corner of Arlington and Greenville Blvd is going to be a small shopping center - they're really gonna squeeze it in on that lot.
