I think JPirate7 owns Quiznos. Someone mentions the word sub & he's like white on rice there with a comment about Quiznos.

The new Indian restaurant Kasturi (which is located by the Hospital next to Starbucks), is having their ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday. They have been open for a while, but I guess it's something of a relaunch. The mayor will be out to cut the ribbon and they will have all day events starting around lunchtime. Live Music, traditional Indian games, great food and refreshments. The ribbon cutting is around 3:30. More info on the Facebook page if your interested.

I've had some of the other Indian places in Greenville and they are okay but I personally think this is the best one. Hopefully it will drive some business for him.

It is great for the city to have expansion of these types of restaurants.

The city is gearing up to find contractors to convert First Street from a four-lane road, to a two-lane road with additional parking. It will go from just east of South Greene Street to just west of the intersection of 1st
Street and North Holly Street. Hopefully the contract to come up with a plan will be awarded by early September.

I hope they are considering the future Preforming Arts Center there.

Our council hired a city manager who was fired from her last job managing a city 1/4 the size of Greenville.

Apparently, we are to call this "progress."

I haven't seen anything yet to make me like this hire.

Greenville is a very dynamic city, with a large student population to boot. Many opposing forces. And you bring in her? Ok, this trial won't be long.
