Whats everyone's opinion? Personally, the tower isn't the most intriguing, but I don't think it's 'a yuuuge disappointment.'

Glad to see any parking lot, especially in downtown CLE and Playhouse Square, developed. Besides the somewhat cookie-cutter look to the building, the parking garage and its street level component is the real issue here.
'
Downtown already has numerous parking garage created dead-zones. Superior Avenue between E 9/E 12 (it's flip-side is the dead zone as Walnut Street) as well as E 6th between Superior and Short-Vincent are two immediate examples.

Creating a stretch of dead zone on Euclid Avenue in the otherwise vibrant and growing Playhouse Square area is just plain short-sighted.

Obviously the retail/commercial component of downtown's revival is not there yet. Consider the vacant space at E 9/Euclid in the stunning Schofield Building (Kimpton Hotel). That space wasn't pre-leased, obviously, and has sat vacant going on 16+ months since the hotel and apartments opened.

It's just a matter of time though, especially since the vacant buildings on Euclid Avenue & E 12 are out of litigation and the massive conversion of the Huntington Bldg move forward.

There has been pre site work, engineers and architects on site. Likely to see scaffolding in August and a crane by fall.

Good to see NOACA is getting serious about TOD. Certainly Cleveland has much potential with it's rapid transit system.

Good to read something with some concrete info. Glad McCormack is all in, let's hope the rest of city council shares his sentiment.

I like it. This will surely stretch the skyline eastward with decent height.
