Can anyone tell me their thoughts on Seven Hills? Looking to move to an area within 20 minutes of the Jacobs field area...

Its mostly a bedroom community with some commercial areas along Broadview Road and Rockside. Its pretty safe, mostly houses, the school system is linked with Parma, so thats a downside, but nothing really bad. They've just built a new rec. center too. Overall its a alright community, pretty boring i'd say.

I'm not sure the Parma schools are a bad thing. Most kids in Seven Hills (maybe all, I don't know) would go to Hillside Junior High and Normandy High, which have very good repuations. You're also close to some Catholic schools if you want to go that route.

Parma schools are not a bad thing, they're just not the best either. Catholic schools are not a good choice though for the price. Plus many thing that public school kids have already learned, catholic school kids don't learn till later.

Seven Hills is nice and pretty. It is located in a good area to access the main traffic arteries to get you to Jacobs in a flash (unless you don't plan right and end up in "there's a game going on!!" traffic).

Good luck!

Seven hills is nice, but very inconviently located, as is Parma.

High taxes. Older homes (1960's-'70s), but well kept. Nicely planned neighborhoods. They are on the Parma school system . . . personally, I think it sucks.

The biggest blah of Seven Hills is the convenience issue! Blah.

Seven Hills is a nice place and the schools are pretty good too. Im not sure how much the houses cost there, probably around $250,000 or higher maybe a little bit lower.

I live in Seven Hills. It's fine...very, very safe. And, contrary to what one poster says, it is very conveniently located unless you live near the Tri-City border (and even then it's not bad). I can get to Downtown in 10 minutes from where I'm at (near the Rockside corridor).

As for the homes...you pick it. They'll go from about $140K for a well kept bungalow to $500K for a newer McMansion. They come in all shapes and sizes. For schools, you get John Glenn or Green Valley for elementary/middle school, Hillside for middle/junior high, and Normandy for high school. The last time I checked, they all got pretty good ratings.
