Chicago is a mixed bag. I feel like Monday-Friday it's very fast paced and it keeps getting like that. Then when Friday 5pm hits til Sunday evening it's very laid back. People just like to go to the park, hangout at a bar in the patios, etc.

There is no way, Chicago is more laid back than LA. After NYC, it is the most fast-paced city in the US.
I don't think either one is more laid back than the other. They both seem to be on par with each other.

Denver is the most laid-back city I've lived in/visited. Even St. Louis seems "rush-rush" compared to when I lived in Denver.

More like Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio... pretty much all the other cities in Texas except Dallas and Houston.

No way, LA has laid back areas but as a whole is equal to Chicago easily.
San Francisco to me is faster paced than Chicago too

Agreed.

I would put the following together:

Fast Paced:
NYC
Boston
DC
Philly
SF (although could fall in the next group)

Medium Paced:
LA
Chicago
Miami
(SF could easily fall in this group)

Slow Paced:
San Diego
Houston
Dallas
New Orleans
Atlanta

But then again, you're just wrong. Have you ever been to these cities?

Honolulu, San Diego, New Orleans, and to some extent, LA. Phoenix is also pretty laid-back, from what I experienced. Miami...I think it is a bit laid-back, but a lot of the materialism of the people there ruin that.

Dallas has the slowest pace of any major city I ever visited.

Denver and parts of San Diego are probably the most laid back
