Using the latest census population as calculation:
DC: 88 / 671803 = 13.1/100k
Baltimore: 103 / 569931 = 18.07/100k

And NYC...
146 / 8335897 = 1.75/100k.

Definitely not a good year for DC either way.

And just for reference, suburban Anne Arundel County near Baltimore:
11 / 593286 = 1.85 / 100k.

Yep, NYC homicide rate is definitely not that bad for a US city.

STL rate is slightly below NO and slightly above Baltimore. Nothing really new

NOLA has a homicide rate +27.5/100k as of May 24th.

+100 homicides / 364k pop

It’s way higher than St. Louis/Baltimore which is crazy in itself.
