Baltimore has slowed down after a record 36 homicides in January. Only 59 homicides so far this year

Exactly - that's nothing new. You have to go back to the 80s or maybe the early 90s as the last time when the City of Seattle was the epicenter of crime in the Seattle MSA.

24 y/o man shot dead inside a home in Hampton
17 y/o shot outside of a convenience store in Norfolk by a man almost twice his age. Dies hours later.

Norfolk - 10
Portsmouth - 9
Hampton - 6
Richmond - 6
Chesapeake - 3
Virginia Beach - 2
Newport News - 1

Hampton and Richmond have what Newport News had at this point last year. Still at one recorded homicide so far.

Wow, Norfolk not looking good at all. Could possibly hit a homicide rate of 30 this year.
