Agreed that most of us have little to go on!

Even if someone has visited several times, it's all anecdotal. Even if someone LIVES in a city it's one person's experiences, which are going to be slanted in whatever personal ways -- how they come across, who they talk to, where they live, where they work, and so on.

Phoenix wins. I visited Denver recently, and while people are not rude, they are much more introverted. It's a keep to yourself kind of culture there from what I noticed. People in Phoenix are more extroverted and more likely to start a conversation with you. Never been to SLC, so I can't speak about SLC. Phoenix is just better than Denver overall too as a city. There is not any hostility in Denver compared to Tucson. Tucson is the least friendliest compared to these 3 cities.

The people are so nice it's
weird
not to mention all the 60 year olds on mountain bikes
biking from Solitude to Park City up down, around and back at >8,000ft.
