Philly only because I've already explored Boston thoroughly.

Time to fish:

Lake Tohopekaliga, FL or Guntersville Lake, Alabama?

Guntersville Lake ... only because I used to live walking distance to East Lake Tohopekaliga.

Lake George NY or Finger Lakes region NY?

I'm going Finger Lakes with to answer directly. Tough call though because the Finger Lakes are such a large area and Lake George itself is small in comparison. To me, Lake George has the prettier natural scenery but it's overly touristy and overbuilt. But if this were expanded out to include more of the Adirondacks, I'd take the Adirondacks pretty handily.

Would you rather visit Mackinac Island, MI or Nantucket, MA?

Mackinac Island. I love northern Michigan and the UP. New England is nice, but Nantucket is a bit frou-frou for my sensibilities.

You can spend 4 days visiting this city and you are confined to the city limits:
Nashville or St. Louis?

Agreed. Nantucket is not my thing either.

But to answer yours, Nashville. Easily.

Asheville NC or Roanoke VA?

Virginia Beach. I prefer the Atlantic beaches and warmer ocean water. But it's close.

San Antonio, TX or Memphis, TN?

I've never been to Memphis but I liked San Antonio, very friendly city and Texas holds more interest for me, so SA it is.

Bar Harbor, Maine or Friday Harbor, WA?

Bar Harbor for sure. I much prefer New England to the PNW.

Outer Banks, NC or Key West, FL?
