I had no idea that Pittsburgh was so breathtaking (at least at night). You have made a believer out of me.

I wouldn't go that far. I mean, it's pretty, but it's not overwhelmingly pretty. No skyline really is.

Chicago and Pittsburgh are 2nd and 3rd respectively (IMO).

bland? no character? LOL. here are some pics of NYC...

As you can see, the skyline is very bland, no character, no drama, no building diversity of any kind, no power.

IMO, cities like Pittsburgh, Seattle, etc. take pretty pictures, but when it comes to POWER (see title of this thread) it's gotta be NYC.

Powerful, definitely New York City with Midtown and Downtown. I especially loved the picture of midtown from a bird's-eye view. New York's downtown is anything but bland if you go walking down mid or downtown.

^^Agreed. How people say New York has a "bland" skyline is beyond me.

A bland skyline would be like Fort Wayne, Ind.

Was the pictures all necessary....I think many people got the point when ya'll posted the first three pics lol.

I think Houston's Skyline is powerful because it surprises you when you see it from a distance out of nowhere! It may look bland, but I feel that's what sets its skyline apart from others. It's different and not the usually spires and designs.

IMO,Houston has a signature skyline, but lacks a signature building! People could figure out Houston's skyline within a bunch of other random skylines just by looking at it and that's what I love about it!;O

Oh, absolutely New York City. It has the grandest of them all.

And say what you want about the buildings being "cluttered", but walk through Manhattan, and then come talk. It's amazing to have that feeling of being so tiny when you're around those huge buildings.

I haven't been to Dallas, Houston, Boston, Minneapolis, Denver, Seattle, and Miami. Of the cities remaining, NY, then Chicago get my vote.
