I've have never known SF to have great nightlife. I got family up there and they love the nightlife here in Houston, but that may be due to the vibrant urban scene here.

I could understand why someone black would prefer Houston over SF and even Dallas.

That makes no sense. SF is far more urban and vibrant than Houston. It also has a much more diverse and interesting nightlife scene.

Blacks & Hispanics don't party in SF sorry to tell you.

Blacks are in Oakland & Hispanics in San Jose. Its very segregated if you ask me, unlike Houston where everyone parties together.

San Francisco is segregated. Oakland and San Jose are not segregated in the slightest.

Urban scene = hip hop & r&b scene in which case Houston could go toe to toe with San Francisco .

How am I not surprised this is coming from Metro Matt?
This comment isn't even worth rebutting but if you are going to go the ignorant generalization route, I guess one could say that Dallas & Houston nightlife is geared more towards cowboys. So unless you wear wrangler jeans, Durango boots and a cowboy hat, you're going to have a bad time!

Hmm... I'm sure I've seen a hispanic or black person somewhere in Frisco.

I really don't think these cities are very comparable and it's very subjective (a poll would have been nice). Some people may prefer the Dallas or Houston nightlife over SF but I'm sure more people would go with SF. Having been to all three cities personally, and being a big fan of hitting the local nightlife spots, I think SF stands ahead of Hou and Dal and can compare to cities such as NY, LA, Chi, Miami. What stands out about SF is its obvious pro's: compact city, great transportation, diversity, historical, attractiveness to tourists, etc. It's a real fun city where you can cover a lot of ground in such a short time.

rofl, just perfect satire

P.S. Saying nightlife in SF is geared towards homosexuals is one of the strangest things I have read here. I guess we now know the only neighborhood Metro Matt hangs out in when visiting SF though (not judging, just saying...)
