The Financial District in Detroit, or GRisowld Street.

That's about the only street in the city that has a solid/consistent street wall for blocks, and it features the tallest skyscrapers in the city.

Some will debate it's Woodward though.

Default according to google...

According to google maps when i go to sat view and look where they put the red dot and "chicago" next to it is the corner of Jackson and Federal st. I believe the strongest absolute city buisness center is obviously the Lasalle st. canyon. Home to the Chicago Federal Bank Reserve. I think the Chicago Board of Trade and the Commodities Exchange and CME Group Chicago Mercantile Exchange hq are in the loop. strange. I thought they were located inside the Merc building itself - which strangely by the way, isn't in the Loop either. lol

Basically, in the Dark Knight batman movie, when commisioner gordon was targeted and victim of asassination, they were filming in the Lasalle st. canyon.

I'm not really sure about DC, but my gut tells me it's by the Metro Center station.

Simple, Indy, Monument Circle. Almost exact center of the city and just a hair from being the geographic middle of the state.

I beg to differ. Grant Street is the tallest street in downtown. Oliver @ Wood Street would be the center of the Pittsburgh Business District..... The canyon formed by 1PNC, 2PNC, 3PNC, K&L Gates Center, and EQT Plaza is quite impressive. The canyon will stretch further down Wood St. once the Tower @ PNC Plaza and The Gardens tower is completed in a couple of years....
