MSA's with roughly 2 million people.

How would you rank them (first to last) in the following criteria:

1. Downtown vibrancy

2. Nighttime vibrancy

3. Size of metro (physical, subjective)

4. Size of downtown (subjective 'downtown' not official)

I've not been to some of those cities, but I am just about certain

Number 1, Night Time Vibrancy goes to Las Vegas by far. haha

San Jose has a pretty downtown, so does Sacramento and Indianapolis

Austin probably has the most nightlife after Vegas from those choices, though I'd probably prefer Orlando (reggae scene).
Cincinnati probably has the best-looking downtown as far as architecture, followed by KC & Cleveland. Sacramento has a nice downtown area also, with the river and Raley Field.
Largest downtown is tough to say, as most of those places are known for their sprawl. San Jose probably is the largest physically of those metros, because you mightas well include Fremont and the Peninsula as they are a part of Greater Silicon Valley.

Why is the title say 2 million plus but there are places listed that are under 2 million? Just saying.

I guess the populations were rounded, though why the list was cut-off at Indianapolis is a mystery..
