Dc has 105 million sq. foot of office space, som reports even say 107 but not 120. Also a good number of that space is owned by uncle sam if you didn't know bud.
I've seen anywhere from 110 to 120. DC already is the most expensive class a commercial real estate market and is growing by leaps and bounds. I can't find any numbers on how much the Feds actually own but it doesn't matter because federal workers make up a significant portion of DC's daytime population. I didn't mention Toronto because I've never been.

I still wouldn't put DC's downtown up there with SF's just yet but I think its at the level of the other cities on this poll namely Toronto. It's DC, things only get better from here.

SF isn't busier than DT DC during the day. DT DC has a much bigger labor force, larger DT and much busier transit than DT SF. DC swells by 73% during the day.
