A lot of areas of Atlanta don't have sidewalks and destinations tend to be spread out and the terrain can be very wooded and hilly in areas. Maybe that has something to do with it.

Why don't you all try reading. It clearly states "25 of the largest cities" it doesn't say The Largest or are these The Best Transit. These are simply the rankings of 25 cities they chose to look at.

Some other cities can be searched for such as Tampa with a score of 60

Atlanta it seems does not release the information to software developers:
http://www.citygoround.org/apps/walk...490%2C-84.3880

Theres the reason Atlanta wasn't listed.

Atlanta has alot better transit than many of these cities. Is 48 miles of heavy rail with a direct Airport-Downtown connection worth mentioning?

Have you every actually been to Atlanta?

In terms of public transit, Las Vegas shouldn't even be in the Top 50. WTF?

Minneapolis has a transit score of 69.

Source: walkscore.com - Minneapolis Rentals, Apartments, and Neighborhoods on Walk Score

Cities that weren't listed:
St. Louis - 46
Pittsburgh - 55
Tampa - 31

Cities like Detroit, Atlanta, and Charlotte don't even have a transit score listed. Charlotte has a walk score of 34 out of 100 points, which ranks it as the second least walkable city. Jacksonville ranked last.
