I went to college in Durham, near Raleigh. Raleigh is more suburban, nice, and to me, dull.

My brother went to law school in Philly and met his wife there, so I visited them often. I liked Philly's diversity, but it felt so crowded ( cars parked on medians) and narrow old streets. Compared to Raleigh, it's dirtier.

Hmm, I'd say this is a very large part of Philly's charm, not a negative. That's just me though.

True but like most things what are charming to some are not to others.

On the whole it sounds like the job opportunities will be most important.

All these places have many things to offer so the best job fit may well be the answer so to speak
