Obvious answer here. Baltimore is clearly the least diverse BosWash city.

Not sure that I'd say either is particularly Asian influenced but Philly does have an actual Chinatown.

Are you talking about city or metro?

Both, but I possibly could be wrong about the metro because I don't have access to the metro stats at this moment. Baltimore city proper is over 90% black and white, which is extremely undiverse.

Philadelphia easily. And the Asian population is growing. I'm guessing by 2020, the asian population will be atleast 18 - 22%

Neither city is known for having a large Asian population or diversity in general nor will they ever be but for the city its Phily and the metro is Baltimore thanks to the DC-Baltimore metro.

I agree with you on the city being black & white. The suburbs aren't like that, however.

Last time I checked "black" and "white" are just blanket terms to cover dozens of ethnicities. Baltimore is like the rest of the NE in that their "white" population is full of Italians, Greeks, Anglos, and others. Since when were only Asians and Hispanics diverse? Also I was born in Baltimore and my father is fully Native-American (another often unquoted example of diversity), a lot can be in that 10%.

By the way Philly is 6.3% Asian while Baltimore is 2.3%. Baltimore CSA is 5.3% Asian while Philly is 5%. So the areas are both quite similar as a whole.

Are you crazy? Philadelphia is a very diverse city. If no one ever saw statistics, you would think it was a top 5 diverse city. When I was on the subway the other day. I seen atleast 10 - 5 of every race. Philadelphia came in at number 5 for diversity in T&L magazine 2 years in a row. 2011, 2010 and most likely will in 2012.
