I thought the black population in Houston was growing. Looks like it's decreasing to me.

Well, the Black population DID increase in Houston. However, the Asian and Hispanic (especially) population increase much quicker, which is why their percentage dropped .1% of the metro population.

What's more international Seattle or Houston, Philly, and Dallas?

Trimac20 seems to think Seattle

You're kidding, right?

I actually think Houston is more international than SF, given that Houston has huge connections with Africa, Latin America, and Asia, while SF is limited to Asia and a small subsection of Latin America.

Looking at the trends, Houston will be more 'racially diverse' than SF sometime in this decade.

It's a shocker that LA's white population as a whole hasn't declined between 2000 and 2010, after decades of decline between 1970 and 2000. They're almost 50% of the population now, a 3% increase from 2000.

There are about 5 million blacks in the the top 10 cities now. In 2000, there were 6 million.
