Ps. You and your comrades can cry all day...the poll number's say it all. Not just about Philly/Boston leading the poll but look at the drop off between those two and DC. Pack up and move on please..

Look, I know Philadelphia has great museums, but this is D.C. we are talking about. There isn't a city in the whole nation that has the variety of museums present in D.C. I already said Philadelphia had great quality but they don't have quantity in relation to D.C.'s museum count. Who does? It's almost like people can't stand to have D.C. win in anything even when it's widely known they are the best in that particular item. Do you see us arguing D.C. can compete with NYC in 24 hr entertainment?

Read my other response. My comments are two fold to DC

One on art specifically they are very comparable (as much as he thinks otherwise) and two he claims there are no offerings in Philly that DC wouldnt have and claims the opposite. I agree there are more museums in DC and have said in multpile posts but was the point of this list

Also I agree that some are pretty gimicky to Bajans point and would put the mutter in that category as well

On the Air and Space I much prefer the new one at Dulles; that hanger and getting inside a Space Shuttle and the Blackbird are pretty cool

If you're actually into art (I'm not really, but I know plenty who are), you'd probably find Philadelphia's museums to be more interesting. Philly gets all of the big exhibitions and it has a lot of contemporary/modern art as well. Philadelphia is a much bigger "arts" town than DC.

Perhaps so but that doesn't equate to DC having a better downtown than either Boston or Philadelphia.

Downtown Philadelphia

Coming from Mr. "LA is more urban than DC." LMAO. It's really not a fair comparison because CC is so small. We probably need to compare CC with Gallery Place/Penn Quarter instead.

Well if we are arguing Museams, Boston has the 2nd Most museams after NYC, and as a State Masschusetts has the most.
