@Summersm343

Those are some amazing pictures. Philadelphia is a beautiful city, rich with architecture, culture, and the all important personality. I'm astonished that all these DC homers feel the need to try so hard with emotional attacks. There really is no comparison on the downtown front.

I feel that you are wrong. So where does that leave us. DT Philly is nice but it does not have nowhere near the amenities as DT DC. Boston either since you are cosigning everybody's checks today.

The Wizards have one NBA championship, but that was back in 1978 when they were known as the Bullets. The Redskins have a few Super Bowl championships, but we just celebrated the 20th anniversary of their most recent one back in January. They've been largely irrelevant since. In fact, these days they make more noise in March and April than they do in January.

By the way, major professional sports teams in Washington DC have won four championships since 1960. In Philadelphia they've won seven."

The Phillies won a World Series in 2008 and have been to the playoffs every year since. But yes we suck completely, we only have 3 more championship wins than you total with all major sports combined... but wait the Redskins have more championships wins then all our sports combined? Wait... I'm confused... you said that right. Not to mention they went to the World Series again in 2009. We have the best pitching roster out of any team in the MLB
Reread my post. Since 1982 (30 years ago), the Redskins have won more championships than the entire sports scene in Philly.

I will go slow ....Since 1982 - Phillies 1, Sixers 1, Flyers 0, Eagles 0. Do you see how I cherry picked a date (1982) since you decided to cherry pick 1960.

I didn't decide anything... how about you include all years since the existence of these teams. Gnutella started at 1960 because it's a more accurate look at the modern teams.

Hey I am about to ride the nation's second most busiest subway to the Verizon Center in DT DC (Chinatown) tonite for a beautiful event. Philly has no answer for Gallery Place/Verizon Center area and all of its nightlife activity.

Great for Gnutella but I decided to use 1982. My statement is accurate.

Either way Boston won more in 10 years than DC and Philly have in 52 years.

A tiny dot; within 5 miles are half the population fo DC and an average income pretty high. Also this is not the wealthiest area of the city proper either to begin with.

90% is WAY to High for you assertion honestly. 30-40% of the city is in pretty bad shape though; similar to the percentage in DC from ten years ago probably a little higher today than what is in poor shape in DC (Seems like you ignore that for convieniance)

Man talk about haters

If you are gonna hate at least use facts that supportable
