1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Was This Jesus as God or is this supporting Jesus being with God?
Jesus was filled with the Holy Spirit. It is not a stretch for us to believe the Holy Spirit is God's spirit and therefore not a separate being. However, the Holy Spirit came down upon Jesus to help him in his ministry (as we were discussing in the other thread), therefore is it more logical that the Holy Spirit is God (the Word) and Jesus is the vessel sent to deliver the Word.
If Jesus is a separate person and still God then there are two gods. If Jesus was filled with the Holy Spirit then Jesus' words make perfect sense, and there is only one God rather than two.
John 17:3 "...that they may know Thee, the only true God, and him whom Thou didst send -- Jesus Christ; "
John 17:11"...and no more am I in the world, and these are in the world, and I come unto Thee. Holy Father, keep them in Thy name, whom Thou hast given to me, that they may be one as we;"
So are the disciples God too? No... there is a special relationship they shared.... The Holy Spirit dwelling in them as it dwelt in Christ.
Some religions Jesus is an angel, a messenger from the beginning but not God. Some morph him together with God and still say there is one God.

I believe that Jesus (known also as "Logos" or "Word") was the very first spirit child born to our Heavenly Parent/s. So he was there in the beginning of our Heavenly Father's family.
Much later as we visualize time, Jesus and our spirit brother whom we know today as the "Holy Ghost" because of the role he plays were appointed by God the Father to serve with Him in the Godhead. Their united purpose is "to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man."
The specific role of Jesus is Savior and Redeemer. He was also Jehovah, the god of the Old Testament. He will come to this planet and live in Jerusalem, reigning as king of kings for the Millennium.
The Holy Ghost does not yet have a resurrected body as do God the Father and Jesus Christ. Because of that he can influence/communicate with many people at once, similar to the light of the sun being able to touch many things and be felt by millions at the same time.
