To pick up on Saintmark's comments about his own relationship with his children, I'm sure that if his child (no matter the age) was in front of a bus, Saintmark would do all in his power to pull the child from harm. It's no stretch to see God doing the same.

We have choices to make, and roads we can walk. Jesus doesn't take our steps for us, we do that. He provides the path and shows us the way, and even provides the help of the Spirit, but to think that Jesus is going to wipe righteousness all over us without us taking any repsponsibility or striving... then we are deceived and will hear, be gone from me, ye that worketh iniquity, i never knew.
