Gotta love Thor - AND Chris Hemsworth

‘Thor’: Chris Hemsworth got so muscular his costume wouldn’t fit | Hero Complex – movies, comics, pop culture – Los Angeles Times

But God is at least a 1000x more powerful

When he made that statement in Matthew 24:35-37 ( "But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father) he was speaking as a human.

While here on earth in his human form, Jesus conformed to human limitations to be as much like us as possible.

So as a human he had to grow, learn, and acquire wisdom the way we humans do.

Once he returned to heaven his humanness was gone and he had no more limitations.
but where does it say that in the bible that after returning to heaven he now has access to information only God had?

I'm not sure it does.

But the Bible is not our only source for understanding of Jesus.

Even though Jesus was fully God, when He became a man, Philippians 2:6–8 says He voluntarily restricted the use of certain divine attributes. He didn't manifest them unless directed by the Father, according to John 4:34; 5:30; 6:38. Jesus showed His omniscience on several occasions but He voluntarily restricted that omniscience to only those things God wanted Him to know during the days of His humanity. After He was resurrected, Jesus resumed His full divine knowledge, as Matthew 28:18 and Acts 1:7 say.

Jesus, now exalted in Heaven, surely knows all, including the timing of His Second Coming.
