Beautiful, just beautiful. I have never seen this before, nor have a read much of Preston Eby's writings, not because I was not interested, but just have not gotten around to reading his meditations other than a little piece here and there. I'm so glad you posted this.
Thanks FB that was very interesting. He seems like a genuinely warm and intelligent man and isn't it interesting that he was drawn to this pamphlet and that it survived being burned? He was meant to hear this truth because he is such a prolific leader of the UR faith. Praise God!!
What a wonderful testimony! I too, have not read much of his stuff. But this testimony just really made me smile. It's really awesome how you just connect on such a deep level with folks regarding their testimony on God's love for all and that He does have a plan for all mankind. It makes my heart so happy. It's energizing.
And it makes me think of my own journey and how it all played out in my own life, and how God reached me. It never ceases to amaze me how it all just unfolded in my own life. And what that unfolding did to my heart and how I see other people in this world.

Thank you, firstborn. Great video. It takes a lot of faith and passion to go against tradition. It must have been very hard to speak up against what everybody "knows" is the truth. I really admire, from the bottom of my heart, all the men and women who put themselves out there for the Good News through the centuries, knowing they were going to get ran over by billions of people. What amazing compassion.

Harold Lovelace is another amazing man.
I had the great fortune to have a long conversation with him on the phone a few years back when I was confronting my church leadership about their eternal hell doctrine.
He's been preaching UR since the 50's (!) and I KNEW he must have gotten some major flack ESPECIALLY back in the even more traditional 50's. I said "Man you must have been in some HEATED arguments over the years about all this" and he answered (to my surprise) "No. Never - not even one time. If anyone confronted me in anger I just let them say what they had to say and move on. It just meant it wasn't their time yet".

He went on to share 2 Tim. 2:24 And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, 25 in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth,
I always read his Bible studies that he has sent to me through the mail for many years.
Eby was a close friend of Canadaian George Hawtin, and Ray Prinzing (my hero and mentor), both of whom have passed on, but most, if not all of their writings are on the internet.
