Exactly! Then we see Satan adding works to salvation because he has to distort the truth.

Satan does not care if you talk about God, His love or anything else about God. However, Satan very much cares when a person walks in God's holiness and righteousness; that's when it becomes a problem for him.
Colossians 3:9-10 - ...seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
Ephesians 4:24 - And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Just because Jesus rebuked those hypocrites called Pharisees and Sadducees, don't take that as a means to do away with holiness and righteousness. Absolutely not. No man or woman will ever see God without holiness.
