haven't been there since I was a kid...coming home for a week in November, was thinking of going there (especially since I actually went to China in June). Will be staying in Rolling Meadows. Is it safe to drive there?? Or, do you recommend taking the bus/train. (my car will have NC plates)

It's safe to do either. It's well serviced by public transportation too. Parking around there can be a pain on the weekends so I normally park by the Hillard Homes on Archer and Clark.

Thanks. It will probably be during the week, so, that will be easier (according to the website). Someone on another thread suggested hot pot...amazing!! Had the real thing in Sichuan, China...did not like it...but, amazed that it is in America...

If you want a yummy sweet snack to eat on the street I'd recommend the Wan Shi Da Bakery on Wentworth or the classic toast (different kinds of fresh jam, peanut butter or garlic spread) at St Alp on Archer. Trust me it isn't just toast. It's something special.

As long as you are not a cat or a dog, it's very safe. I kid , I kid.
