Didn't we already do this like 10 weeks ago?

I think the level of parking meter vandalism has gone down a LOT from a few months ago. The thing in the article seems to be an after-thought.

Hope it increases.
It would be nice to see a meaningful revolt of some kind... We've been sorely lacking in the "balls" department since the early 1970's.
Pickets, signs, bitching, protesting, blogging- all self-congratulatory, sniveling, impotent garbage. The kid who takes a hammer and steel punch to one meter window is worth 10,000 "op-ed pieces".

Unfortunately, we are indeed talking about the "Northside". Those people don't have it in 'em.
I dare them to put neighborhood parking meters down here. They'd all be sitting at the bottom of Wolf Lake by sunup.

NBC5 just had a story about the North Side parking meter revolt. Apparently it was centered in Uptown and Edgewater. I swear it wasn't me! It was the toddler!

$.25 for 15 minutes isn't too expensive, but that should be for 45 minutes! And their getting rid of meters for that Pay Box Machine! You gonna break a Pay Box?
