What's the best casino in the Chicago area? City or suburbs, doesn't matter too much, I just have the urge to go to one today! Closer to the city is better, but not a huge deal.

Horseshoe in Ind. 25 minute trip and its actually pretty nice. It use to be a pos dirty place but they just overhauled the entire place

No free liqour, just free soft drinks and coffee. I dont believe there are any Casinos in the Midwest that have free liqour...

That would really surprise me. Their casino in Shreveport does. In fact, I've never heard of a casino that didn't. I'd like to get some more information on that before I make the trip out there.

Edit: Long was posting at the same time I was. Does anyone know if there are any casinos around that serves free (alcoholic) drinks

I've never been to a casino in the Midwest that had free drinks. It sucks.

The Horseshoe Casino sucks- full of cigarette smoke....the buffet is pretty good though

We'll since Milwaukee is a suburb then my vote goes to Potto or Potawatomi. They since have tripled the size and offer a huge section of table games unlike the stinky riverboat. Nice bars and restaurants inside also along good shows. About 35% of the cars in the parking structure of ILL plates anyways.
