But in all honesty, and in the most heterosexual way possible, I'm looking forward to feeling like I've been clubbed in the tailbone. I've gone into hibernation this winter, so it's about that time to get back in shape. I went skiing a few days last week and could barely get out of bed Sunday.

That was kind of a wake-up call that I need to, you know, move every now and then, before I wake up and look like Tom Arnold.
I know how you feel. That's how I felt yesterday, and, unfortunately, am now too saddlesore to ride my bike much today. Which is sad. But that's okay. While it'll get cold again, it won't be so miserable that I'll never be able to take the ol' trek out for a spin, so I should toughen up in no time.

Where do you ride? I find the lake shore path to be outright frightening due to the traffic volume, and I used to race mountain bikes.

I tend to be a 'bicycle as enjoyable transportation' kind of guy, so I usually ride with a destination in mind. I live in Lincoln Square, so I generally ride south along Lincoln or Ravenswood, but like some of the bike routes heading through Albany Park over towards Mayfair and a few nice routes along the river. I like the lakeshore path, and have ridden it's entire length several times, but try to do that on weekdays. (I work from home at sometimes random hours, so sometimes Saturday is my Tuesday and Tuesday is my Saturday...)

I have a road/racing bike, so no mountain biking for me, though I've considered picking a mountain bike up and hitting the Forest Preserves...

I hate most clubs too, but I am gay, so I get eminent domain on the idea.

My lunch isn't until 3:30. I'm going for a walk.

Whoa, whoa. That's no basis for Intellectual Property law...

What would you call that? Effeminate Domain?

(Sorry. Couldn't resist. Offensive puns are my kryptonite.)

I'm on the roof of my school right now. I don't think I'm supposed to be up here, but oh well.

Nah Club Tailbone is better. Another that could work is the "The Stall."

Am I to understand that there will be no Carolina-on-Jdiddy action?

I don't know why I keep coming here.

If you are interested ingetting clubbed at a club, though, I have a thousand friends in Boystown who would love to meet you

Unfortunately, I had to be inside most the day at work, but since I live a 5 minute drive from home, I went home for lunch and my wife and kids walked me most of the way back to work. Then I got the nice 15 minute walk home after work.

This "commute" of mine is going to be golden this summer (especially with half day Fridays every other week).
