I'd say about 2.8 mil and a pretty solid 33.3% all around with perhaps hispanics squeaking in a bit higher than blacks and whites.

I say its going to be a little over 2.9. Chicago has slow growth in comparison to other cities over 2 million.

I have a theory that the Chicago population was larger in 2006 or 2007 than it is today. The city just feels a bit less crowded since last October, and I'm seeing fewer immigrants around than I did then. I think the economic downturn has killed a lot of the laborer and food service jobs out there.
