You are speaking of the "community area." I am speaking of the neighborhood.

I'm speaking of both, I know where I live, and I live in Avondale.

Avondale is also a neighborhood - and the Polish character of Milwaukee Ave north of Diversey and the shift in the residential housing stock are clearly distinct from Logan Square.

Logan Square is also a community area - so where exactly do you think Avondale starts, if not at Diversey, and what makes that location noticeably different from the 2800 demarcation?

The whopping & ancient Avondale Elementary School says it all, AFAIC.

The Neighborhood dividing line is Belmont.
The "Community area" dividing line is Diversey.

LOL, yeah, one of those dorko urban planner maps is the definitive document - those things are made by the same goofs that slap TIFs everywhere, wow, you are desperate to try and prove a point.

but since I also see you don't recognize Wrigleyville, this is a pretty dumb conversation - I don't respect Wrigleyville as a neighborhood, but that doesn't mean it isn't recognized by the vast majority of Chicagoans. You've been suckered by people trying to sell real estate.

btw, note:

city data cut it off, but let's just say it connects "neighborhood" with "Avondale."

sheesh. the arrogance of telling someone where they live who's been in the City their whole life.

Bahahahahhaha yep, planners are the cause of the TIF debacle. Sure, that's right, even though planners have no real power to make decisions whatsoever.
