yes, I did, now live in in Pilsen, close to Damen. so far, it's been great, the commute to work hasn't been that bad now that the track work is more of less over (it takes right about an hour if I take the bus north). my roommate works in the West Loop and is LOVING the 10 minute commute so much, she's trying to convince me to quit my job at the airport and work downtown, something I may consider for next year (despite my commute, I like my job, but don't want to be there forever!). I'm going to love not having to wake at at 6am to get to my 8:30 classes
I like Pilsen so far, I live w/in walking distance of an L stop, Aldi's, park, and lots of little Mexican food places. I know Pilsen has a rep for gang violence, but I already feel better living here than in West Humboldt Park
