public transportation to Loyola Hospital? (Maywood, Forest Park: buses, station, health)

Hey guys. I was wondering if there is a reasonable public transportation route from the city (state & 9th area) to Loyola Hospital?

I can't find any buses that stop near my work from an el station. Any suggestions??

You're talking about what's on Roosevelt and 1st? I think because the Hospital is basically in the burbs, there's really nothing apart from the Blue Line that's close. I know the last stop on the Blue Line gets you within like 1.5 or 2 miles. There is a bus out there, but it actually takes you a little away from the Hospital Maybe there's a shuttle or something from the Blue Line to the Hospital?

Yeah I am talking about Loyola Hospital in Maywood. So far, I haven't found any shuttle between the hospital and the nearest bus/ el station.

I will take a look at the PACE bus schedule. Hopefully that will be have a closer drop off point to the hospital.

Yeah thanks to oakparkdude, this is a viable option. Wish it ran more frequently though!

It is an option, but if you are like many that work at a 24x7 healthcare facility, not a really good one. The majority of employees that work at Loyola, Hines or the state mental health facilty drive. I think Metra looked at trying special shuttles, but the employees come from every direction and that makes it all but impossible to rely on "aggregation effects"...
