Ms_Rae, good day.

YES to the Garfield Park Conservatory. I reside in Milwaukee and have made the trip to it MANY times.

Yesterday we rode bicycles over the bridge at Ashland Avenue and Clybourn. That bridge was LITTERED horribly. There is some type of waste factory just to the west of it.

Perhaps I should have called them and asked that they send one or two of their staff to go to the bridge to clean it up??
Are you talking about the bridge on Ashland, just south of Wendy's and just north of Webster Ave? If so, I long thought that bridge was annoyingly dirty as heck. On a side note, I do wonder when the Green Dolphin Street nightclub building might get redeveloped into something new? Finch's Brewing Company once looked at that space for a new brewpub, but sadly that didn't occur.

BOBNCHI, Sir. I have been to that area many times and never ONCE ate at Pequod's!

And I can see it's popular, based on the lines I always see.

Usually when I'm in that area, it's either because I'm at WRIGHTWOOD PARK, or at the Barnes and Noble.

Fond memories here of viewing the Chicago skyline through the bridge's trestle. Sadly, I never had any type of camera with me in those days. I never noticed that the bridge was particularly dirty.

Lincoln Park, but I feel it's unfair to list Lincoln Park. It's just on a whole other level compared to the other parks, in what it offers, beauty, variety, activities, etc.

So removing Lincoln Park from the picture, my favorite is Humboldt Park. I just think it's beautiful park, and big enough so there is a lot to do with variety.

thinkertinker, good morning!

You GO AHEAD and throw that nomination for Lincoln Park!!!!

It is absolutely beautiful. I had the pleasure to ride bikes through it with my brother and nephew, last month. It is massive, green, and peaceful in some places and yet very energetic in other parts. A great nomination. So thank you!
