Anyone have experience they could share? I'm weary of using an apartment hunting service.

I couldn't find anything about them on here, other sites were also limited at best.

I haven't used them, but if you look at the first post in this forum, there is a list of other apartment hunting services and reviews of them.

I have seen those threads, but this particular company has a few listings I'm particularly interested in.

here's a review on yelp. it's not a particulary postive review (then again, it is just one opinion)

Try Apartment People. I used them and came away impressed.

This has been discussed a lot, but I would go for the apartment finding service that you are talking about, but wouldn't only go with them. I wouldn't be put off by one review. I, for instance, have had really big problems with the Apartment People and other's like them. Just make appointments with a few different ones and check out properties on craigslist and you'll be ok

Attention manchesterUnited:

I stumbled across your inquiry regarding Apartment Exchange, Inc. while doing a search for the company's official website. I know it's a little late, but if you are still interested in the information, my wife and I have been living in one of their duplexes for nearly 5 years now. In all honesty, this is the best place we've lived in thus far. The company itself was also a great move. They have really worked with us since day one. At the time we were looking to move, money was a little tight and they bent over backward to get us into their building. They are also good at sending someone out pretty quickly if there is any type of repair that needs to be done on the property. I have a couple of friends looking to move as soon as they possibly can and I have already suggested that they call Apartment Exchange and use us as a reference...we have a pretty good history with the realtor, as well as the actual owner of the building. If you are still looking, I wish you luck. Take care of you and yours!
